Cheese is, at its core, the ultimate sandwich second fiddle. Except, of course, when it becomes the main course—the big cheese. Cheese expert, wine aficionado and author Laura Werlin will be our special guest at The Resort for a new American West tradition: Sandwich Sensations at The Resort’s fall Visiting Vintner Series. She’ll bring her vast knowledge of all things cheesy as she demos new ways to craft an old American favorite, the grilled cheese sandwich. Now that’s a tasty pairing with, say, a Chappellet Cabernet. Werlin will also host a Cookbook Live session or two to share her favorite recipes from her popular books about her favorite classic sandwiches and sides.
