In Paws Up’s stylish, climate-controlled canvas tents, “roughing it” feels like anything but. Open seasonally from mid-May through mid-October, each of the six unique camps—set along the Blackfoot River or on scenic bluffs—offer tents featuring Western-chic furnishings, king-size feather beds, ensuite bathrooms with rain showers and heated floors, and private decks. Every camp has its own Dining Pavilion, dedicated chef, and the attentive care of a camp butler.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive at Missoula International Airport and enjoy complimentary transportation to Paws Up.
Check in to your luxury tent, featuring a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with heated floors, and more.
Enjoy dinner at the Dining Pavilion, where your camp chef prepares entrées such as sea bass or grilled rib eye with baked sweet potatoes and chocolate lava cake for dessert.
After dinner, gather around the fire while your butler tends it and serves a delectable plate of specialty s’mores.
Day 2
Wake up to the sounds of the river outside your tent, then relax on your porch with a cup of coffee delivered by your camp butler.
Stroll to the Dining Pavilion for a hearty breakfast such as a venison omelet, fried egg sandwich, or brioche French toast.
Hop on a shuttle to Paws Up’s Wilderness Outpost, where you’ll begin a day of adventures ranging from horseback riding and cattle drives to rafting, fly-fishing, and mountain biking.
Saddle up for a one-of-a-kind dinner at Chuck Wagon, where you’ll enjoy an open-air feast featuring Montana-style favorites such as Tomahawk steak, grilled vegetables, and warm fruit cobbler.
Take the shuttle back to your luxury camp for an evening under the stars.
Day 3
Energize your morning with a quick lift or Peloton ride at Huff & Puff, then head back to the Camp Dining Pavilion for a freshly prepared breakfast by your camp butler.
Immerse yourself in the Montana wilderness with an activity of your choice—mountain biking through meadows and forested hills, guided hiking, or sporting clays, to name a few.
Once you return from your activity at the Wilderness Outpost, stroll over to Shed for lunch, where you can dine al fresco and enjoy smoked delights in a relaxed Montana setting.
The afternoon is yours to continue adventuring or unwind with a massage at Spa Town, or quiet time back at camp on your private deck or by the river.
Dinner this evening returns to the Dining Pavilion, followed by fireside s’mores and stargazing beneath the Big Sky.
Day 4
Savor one last peaceful Montana morning with breakfast at the Dining Pavilion. Don’t forget to try the huckleberry pancakes—because no Montana goodbye is complete without them.
Choose a final adventure, perhaps a scenic trail ride, ATV tour, or archery lesson, before lunch at Trough.
Return to camp to pack, then enjoy complimentary transportation to Missoula International Airport.
