Nothing says “lazy summer morning” like strolling into Chef Suzanne Vizethann’s Buttermilk Kitchen, Atlanta’s beloved breakfast spot for the kind of cuisine that makes Southern taste buds dance. She may be an Atlanta staple, but Vizethann’s also no stranger to the celebrity chef circuit. She’s been a Chopped winner and competed on Guy’s Grocery Games, as well as appearing on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
After working in several of Atlanta’s favorite restaurants, Vizethann opened the Hungry Peach, where she honed her own concepts and which eventually led to opening the Buttermilk Kitchen in 2012. Breakfast in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood has never been the same. Nor will yours be if you follow the recipes in her recently published debut cookbook, Welcome to Buttermilk Kitchen.
