Whichever parts of the Montana landscape speak to you, guest artist George Van Hook will help you capture them in your art. He’s helped beginner and experienced painters alike improve on their technique and discover new talents. Van Hook will conduct this “plein air” watercolor workshop in a variety of eye-popping settings throughout The Resort. It’s a memorable way to learn from a true pro and take in the unforgettable surroundings at the same time. We promise your work of art will be one of your favorite souvenirs ever.
Van Hook is also available on a fee basis for private demonstrations or lessons.
George Van Hook: Artist in Residency
Renowned American painter George Van Hook honed his artistic skill the old-fashioned way. As a young man, he visited the Louvre and traveled through France, Italy and Holland to study and be inspired by the masters. Now, for more than 35 years, this award-winning artist has painted and exhibited on three continents.
