After the plates are cleared and the sun has set, bob your head along with Hudson Valley resident Rhett Miller. He’ll be playing tunes from his latest solo LP, The Messenger, which Rolling Stone says is filled with “hooky and well-calibrated confessionals.”
A prolific songwriter and performer, Miller has released numerous solo albums in addition to his extensive discography as the front man of the much-loved alt-country act the Old 97’s. Miller is known for folding eloquent lyrics into his driving Americana-punk-pop melodies. He has also penned short stories, essays and articles for publications including The Atlantic, McSweeney’s, Rolling Stone and Sports Illustrated.
