Sweet Cooking for Kids

with Pastry Chef Amy Nack and Chef Valerie Gordon

March 12 and April 18–19, 2019

Kids will roll up their sleeves for the most delicious way we can think of to make a big mess. Paws Up Pastry Chef Amy Nack and chocolatier and Chef Valerie Gordon will teach simple and safe cooking techniques as kids pursue sugary success. A special Kids’ Cook-Off Challenge will complete their training.

Amy Nack: Paws Up Pastry Chef
Chef Amy Nack served as a pastry chef at two Ritz-Carlton hotels and as an instructor at the Big Sky Culinary Institute before moving on to become Paws Up’s pastry chef. Nack is a dedicated member of the Montana culinary scene and spends her summers farming in Arlee, Montana.

Valerie Gordon: Featured Chef
From running Les Deux Cafes in Los Angeles to becoming a James Beard Award finalist with her first cookbook, Sweet, Chef Valerie Gordon’s culinary journey has been filled with tasty delights and self-taught discoveries. She cofounded her namesake confectionary in 2004 and is now one of the top artisan chocolatiers in the country. Her excellence has been widely recognized, with appearances on the Food Network’s The Best Thing I Ever Ate and Bravo’s Top Chef: Just Desserts, among others.
