Floridis has released several recordings, mixing bluesy, folk-rock vocal tunes with adventurous solo acoustic guitar compositions. His release Live from 11th and Grant is the soundtrack from his Northwest Emmy Award–winning performance for the Montana PBS program of the same name. Floridis is also the producer and host of Musician’s Spotlight for Montana Public Radio, which was recognized in 2015 with a Montana Broadcasters Award.
“John’s music dances . . . between subtlety and power, and the beauty is in his ability to lean toward one side or the other at a finger snap.”
—Kelly Joe Phelps, Rounder Records/Black Hen recording artist
