When you grow up watching your Nanas prepare traditional Southern dishes for Eastern Kentucky coal truck drivers, it makes a lasting impression. So when Chef Stephen Williams cofounded Otto’s in the Cincinnati area, he embraced tradition in his own passion for Southern cooking. Later, at Pho Paris, he tapped into the technique and flavors that, along with memories of both grandmothers’ flare for Southern fare, influence his menus today.
But it was by opening Bouquet in 2007 that Williams was able to showcase his burgeoning commitment to farm-to-table dining. His ever-changing menus embrace seasonal ingredients from local purveyors—a trait he’s anxious to adapt to Paws Up. Besides being named Best Restaurant in Kentucky by Business Insider, Bouquet made Cincinnati Magazine’s top ten list six times. Never satisfied with the status quo, Williams co-opened FIRE and Butler’s Pantry in 2019.
Expand your palate by joining Williams as Kentucky farm-to-table dining merges with Montana’s version of the concept for one very tasty August week.
