A cherished fixture in Atlanta’s midtown cuisine scene, Chef Craig Richards serves up his signature handmade pasta stylings and wood-fired meats and seafood at Lyla Lila, his southern European restaurant. Your palate will celebrate when he brings the innovative Italian dishes he’s known for in Atlanta to the wilds of Montana.
Richards spent five years working with “the first lady of Italian cuisine,” restauranteur Lidia Bastianich. After serving as sous chef at Lidia’s Kansas City, Richards opened Lidia’s in Pittsburgh as executive sous chef. Returning to Atlanta in 2005, Richards fine-tuned his Italian food craft at La Tavola. Later, he joined celebrity Chef Ford Fry at St. Cecilia, where his work was lauded by Food & Wine, Southern Living and others.
In 2019, Richards opened Lyla Lila in Atlanta, where he fully expresses his culinary sensibilities in dishes like Wagyu Beef and Black Truffle Ravioli and Wood Grilled Octopus with Sunchoke-Marrow Puree. Are your taste buds dancing yet?
