Cowgirl Spring Roundup
A self-described rodeo and fashion fanatic, Danna Casanova was in the process of earning a master’s degree when she decided to pivot and follow her passion for Western design. She began her hatmaking career when she recognized a need to evolve the Western hat to help cowgirls stand out. Casanova started designing for cowgirls in Texas before expanding her clientele—she now creates hats for cowgirls all over the world. Her company, Casanova Hats, is best known for its Western-style hats adorned with Swarovski crystals, pearls, chains and studs.
Casanova has also served as a rodeo beauty pageant judge in Texas and France. Most recently, she designed a special collection displayed at the Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas, titled “Sweet and Savage.” She spends her summers in Paris and Milan, learning about the latest trends in fashion.
