The Paws Up Wine Cellar

Western Montana may not be a wine region, but it’s quickly become a wine destination. At the center of it all is The Resort at Paws Up’s fine-dining restaurant, Pomp. Named by Wine Spectator magazine as one of the country’s Top 100 Wine Restaurants, Pomp has recently played host to special Wine Weekends featuring influential winemakers such as Chappellet, Merry Edwards and Opus One.

Our luxury wine cellar, capable of storing more than 400 labels, has become well-stocked by such events and also offers an expansive selection of fine vintages from other elite vintners, as well. The wine list is constantly evolving, and we pride ourselves on being able to offer something for everyone—from the casual drinker to the most-educated connoisseur.

We’re pleased to offer pairing suggestions to complement our menu, whether you’re dining on Bison Tenderloin or Montana Thick-Cut Onion Rings. Of course, we’ve found that the wines we serve are at their very best when complemented by the variety of inspirational settings that only Montana can offer.

And although the landscape produces not a single grape to call our own, it’s our wine reputation that continues to grow.
