Dogsledding

A True Winter Adventure on Four Paws

It should come as no surprise that one of Paws Up Montana’s signature winter adventures is centered around man’s best friend. On our dogsledding advanture, you’ll glide across the snow in a winter wonderland pulled by a team of Alaskan Huskies. The dogs’ enthusiasm for running makes for a thrilling ride, and their big hearts will quickly win you over. As friendly as they are, you can give them as many neck scratches and belly rubs as you like.

Two Dogsledding Experiences

Paws Up offers two dogsledding experiences. On the one-hour trip, you and your family can meet the dogs, spend time petting and socializing with them, and watch them get hooked up. Then the dogs will take you on an unforgettable ride through some of Montana’s most beautiful countryside.

For the two-hour Iditarod Experience option, you get to do all of the above, plus you have the opportunity to learn how to drive a sled yourself. It’s twice the fun and twice the time spent with the dogs on the trail. We’ll have hot chocolate to warm you up, and we’ll provide lots of photo opportunities, as well. This will be a memory you and your family will cherish for a lifetime.
