Junior Wrangler Program
Kids ages 8–13 can immerse themselves in the world of horses for three consecutive mornings or afternoons. They will ride each day and will build upon what they learned the previous day.
|Equestrian Lessons Available: Mon.–Wed.; Fri.–Sun.|
|9:00AM–12:30PM||$550 per child||Ages 11–13|
|1:30PM–4:30PM||$550 per child||Ages 8–10|
In Paws Up’s new Junior Wrangler Program, kids get to do everything from brush and help saddle their horses to scoop poop, assist with any vet care that might be needed, learn to trot and lope on the trails and practice the art of “hooking on” and how to “join up.” They’ll learn to steer their horses independently from the group by playing games on horseback, and they’ll explore the countryside on trails that others don’t get to ride on—and so much more! Kids ages 8–13 can immerse themselves in the world of horses for three consecutive mornings. They’ll ride each day and build upon what they learned the previous day.
NOTE: Absence from any one session will incur a cancellation without refund.
For children who are hoping for some extra one-on-one time with a four-legged friend, an equestrian lesson in our 29,000-square-foot indoor arena at the Saddle Club is just the thing! Kids ages 6–11 will be given an opportunity to hone their horsemanship skills and balance with such fun games as egg and spoon races and barrel racing, while creating an everlasting bond with a horse. A word of warning, parents: this experience may cause you to be asked for a pony on your child’s next birthday!
