The Montana wilderness is your backyard at the Big Timber Homes at Paws Up. These luxurious vacation homes are discreetly nestled among the big timber of the Resort's 37,000 acres and provide breathtaking views not found in other Rocky Mountain resorts.
All of the vacation homes offer spacious great rooms with either beautiful stone fireplaces or wood-burning stoves to keep you warm during the frosty Rocky Mountain winters. Your kitchen opens up to the great room creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The well-appointed bedrooms have plenty of space to stretch out and each home comes with a charming loft with two twin beds (Loft guests share first-floor bathrooms). Nothing washes away trail dust better than a visit to the big master bathroom with a roomy, Montana-size shower. The guest bathrooms in the larger homes also have the added luxury of whirlpool bathtubs. And, of course, just because you're in the wilds of the west doesn't mean you can't tune in to civilization by viewing your flat-screen TV with satellite or checking email over our Internet connection.

Big Timber Homes at The Resort at Paws Up come in three varieties: Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir and Lodgepole Pine. The Lodgepole Pine Homes are intimate properties for couples on a romantic western vacation or for families. Our Douglas Fir Homes offer a larger floor plan that's perfect for putting some distance between you and your little Cowboys and Indians. The roomy Ponderosa Pine Homes feature three bedrooms and can accommodate up to six people. The Big Timber luxury vacation homes redefine luxury and rustic elegance.
