Texas is a state that takes its barbecue very, very seriously. In fact, many consider the meaty goodness that is grilled, smoked and devoured in Texas to be the very definition of barbecue. We at Paws Up couldn’t agree more. Which is why we are proud to present Montana Master Grillers (MMG): Texas All-Stars in 2016.
Paws Up will host four of the best Texan barbecue chefs/pitmasters in the business for this year’s MMG. The list of represented restaurants for the event reads like a who’s who of Texas BBQ: Freedmen’s, Hickory, Louie Mueller Barbecue and Smoke. And to enjoy with your BBQ, we will also feature all-star distillers direct from Austin, Texas—Dulce Vida Organic Tequila and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Like all MMG events, you’ll enjoy up-close workshops and feast on all the grilled goods, along with imbibing fine wine, spirits and craft beer. You can also help yourself to an amazing selection of wilderness adventures, listen to live music or simply enjoy your luxurious accommodations when you’re not around the grill. It’s really a perfect combination—the offerings of the BIG state of Texas under the BIG sky of Montana. And the stars will be burning brightly all weekend long—in the heavens and around the barbecue pits.

Chefs often cook their own signature cuisine or create meals based on a theme, such as a specific ingredient or holiday. Because these dinners are “chef's choice,” there can be absolutely no substitutions or variations from the menu.
