Food Photography Instructor
Affluent travelers and intrepid foodies tend to be A personalities. That means they don’t just want to document their travels, they want to document them extremely well and share their experiences by sharing their imagery with their friends and families. For that reason, Upper Crust will feature professional and well-seasoned New York Times food photographer, Andrew Scrivani. Andrew will be a “roving instructor” during Kate McDermott's workshops helping guests document the art of pie creation. In addition, Andrew will conduct both basic and advanced food photography workshops teaching guests everything from camera basics to the art of food styling with perfect pours and drips.
Andrew's food photography workshops take attendees through an inspiring tour of his amazing artistry and technique, leaving them with practical skills they can apply to their own work with ease. He "demystifies" the camera, encouraging students to learn its functions and features with confidence, while showing easy ways to use everyday objects as props to improve composition and lighting. Andrew's enthusiasm and fun personality leave students inspired and excited to start shooting!
