Three Floyds Brewing

We’re pleased to announce that Three Floyds Brewing from Chicago will be joining us at Montana Master Grillers 2012.  Three Floyds Brewing was founded in 1996 by brothers Nick and Simon with their father Mike Floyd.  Since then, they’ve been providing craft beer enthusiasts with “not normal” quality ales and lagers.

Montana Master Chefs 2009

Montana Master Chefs is always a highlight of the year and 2009 was no exception.  This year’s winery lineup was one of the best ever with Frog’s Leap Winery, Joseph Phelps Vineyards and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars.  We enjoyed some of the finest wines from Napa Valley right in the heart of the Blackfoot River Valley.  Our chef line up was equally as impressive with Kent Rathbun, Executive Chef/Proprietor of Abacus and Jasper’s Restaurants in Dallas; the last two seasons Top Chef winners, Stephanie Izard and Hosea Rosenberg; and our very own resort chef, Wes Coffel.   It was a weekend filled with the finest things in life: fine food, great wine, friends, family, fun and all with a sense of adventure.   If you didn’t get a chance to join us this year, go to www.montanamasterchefs.com to see what you missed and mark your calendars for 2010 (September 30-October 3, 2010).

“My only disappointment…was leaving.”

Check out this great article from Nicholas Sveslosky in Fido Friendly Magazine.  Great recap of our first annual Wine & Bitch Weekend.  Here’s a snippet: “There are few vacations where Fido feels as welcome as you go.  My only disappointment about the weekend was leaving.”  Click Here to read the full article.

“The United States’ First Carbon-Neutral Property”

From USA Today: The United States now has its first carbon-neutral property, the Resort at Paws Up in Greenough, Montana. Following a comprehensive assessment of the total carbon output of the resort, Paws Up has invested in local forestry and rangeland projects to reduce the carbon “paw print” of their guests in 2009 to zero. “While it has been important to reduce our carbon footprint through offsets,” says general manager Jim Nielsen, “our next goal will be to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that we produce, through solar and wind power initiatives and increasing recycling and waste management efforts.”
