Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reading AM/PM prep lists and executing tasks as directed
- Preparing basic sauces, stocks and other items needed for daily service according to recipe
- Receiving deliveries of food and beverage products, rotating stock and storing items properly
- Transport food and beverage items to off-site events
- Assisting other kitchen staff as necessary
- Perform opening/closing duties
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous kitchen experience desired
- Display a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail and a desire to get things done the first time
- Enjoy the challenge of effectively managing multiple tasks without sacrificing quality or cost controls
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Continuous standing (100%), walking (20%), lifting and carrying (0-50 lb.), frequent reaching/ grasping/ handling, frequent pushing and pulling (0-30 lb.), occasional stooping/ bending/ crouching.
