Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up dish area upon starting shift
- Prep any products as directed by the shift manager/Sous chef
- Sweep and mop floors
- Wash all dishes, glass wear, pots and pans
- Empty trash and breakdown cardboard for recycling
- Assist other kitchen staff as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Display a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail and a desire to get things done correctly the first time
- Clear communication skills
- Efficient and quick performance of duties, accurate recipes, ensure fresh product at all times, teamwork, prevent waste
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Continuous standing (100%), walking (50%), lifting and carrying (0-50 lb.), frequent reaching/ grasping/ handling, frequent pushing and pulling (0-50 lb.), frequent stooping/ bending/ crouching.
