Prepare morning coffee for guests. Upon request give guests wake-up calls. Take orders and serve breakfast. Prepare guests daily transportation. Clean up after breakfast. Prepare for new guest arrivals; stock supplies, prepare tents, review itineraries, etc. Meet new guest upon arrival. Take orders and serve dinner. Arrange any guest transportation requests. Clean up after dinner. Make a campfire for guests and serve campfire treats. Visit with guests during the campfire. Extinguish campfire and clean up after campfire. Chop wood and keep supplies stocked for guests.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepare area for guests and greet guests upon their arrival. Solve and/or direct guest complaints. Serve breakfast and dinner to guests. Be available for guests while providing a relaxing environment. Maintain high level of customer service with guest and employees. Continuously serve as a positive representative of the resort by behaving in a professional manner and by adhering to all policies and procedures. Respond to guest needs in a timely manner. Maintain updated list of area activities and services. Manage communication of guest issues, needs, concerns within & between all other departments. Effectively communicate with guests and resolve any complaints promptly. Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Display understanding of Resort appearance standards. Maintain regular, predictable attendance as scheduled. Manage set up kitchen area, prepping the station according to assigned menu. Set up and breakdown of all equipment used. Exhibit an understanding of the importance of safe food handling procedures, as well as safety procedures in the kitchen. Enjoy the challenge of effectively managing multiple tasks without sacrificing quality or cost controls. Supervise the camp cook, butler's assistant and the camp housekeepers.
Educational Requirements (minimum level required to obtain the position):
CPR Certified (training available), Valid driver license and good driving record.
Independent worker, self motivated, responsible, reliable, basic serving skills, customer service.
Knowledge of Computer Hardware or Software:
Basic computer knowledge and keyboard skills
