Big Adventures for Little Explorers

No need to ask how their day was—they’ll be bursting at the seams with stories of what they did at Paws Up’s Kids Adventure Club. Each day, kids can experience things they’d never get the opportunity to try at home, such as paddle boarding on a local lake, rock painting, sapphire hunting, and outdoor activities like go-karting, archery, or ropes courses. They’ll embark on adventures tailored perfectly to their age in this immersive program that makes the most of Montana.

Kid’s Quest at Paws Up

When parents head off to an adults-only wilderness activity or an afternoon at the spa, the Kids Adventure Club gives children ages 3–12 an adventurous day they can call their very own. They’ll discover skills they didn’t know they had and make new friends, as well. The confidence they build and the sense of accomplishment they feel will last long after they’ve returned home.

Little Discoverers (Ages 3-5):

They’re notorious for asking “Why?” at this age, and the Little Discoverers program will give your kids a week full of extra-satisfying answers. Children ages 3–5 will use all their senses to immerse themselves in the history, environment, and wildlife that define Montana. Of course, they may be having too much fun swimming, painting, and scavenger hunting to ask any questions at all. New friends, food that’ll appeal to all levels of pickiness, and never-did-that-before activities will make for a week they’ll never forget. Why? Just because!

Adventure Club (Ages 6-12):

Paws Up’s Adventure Club is the perfect way for older kids to explore all Montana has to offer, away from the watchful eye of Mom and Dad. We’ve concocted the perfect combination of adventure, education, and fun to provide experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. No two days are alike, and kids will have a blast trying activities like geocaching, archery, and go-karting. And while your kid will enjoy the newfound feeling of independence, you just may be surprised to learn they can’t wait to show off their new skills for you the next day.

Sample Itinerary

Morning Adventures

Start the day with age-appropriate activities led by our Kids Corps counselors. Depending on the day, young adventurers might tackle the ropes course, enjoy pony rides, explore Garnet Ghost Town, meet wildlife through Animal Wonders, or try their hand at arts and crafts.

Afternoon Explorations

The fun continues with outdoor adventures across Montana’s lakes and trails. Paddleboard, kayak, and swim at nearby lakes, search for hidden treasures through geocaching, explore nature on guided hikes, try archery, or experience sapphire mining and riverfront picnics.

Creative & Classic Camp Fun

Between adventures, kids can enjoy a rotating lineup of hands-on activities including slime making, rock painting, paracord bracelets, tie-dye creations, and other seasonal crafts. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, create, and make friends.
