Great Scotts – Drum Circle Madness: July 8-20
Artists in Residency: Scott Besaw and Scott Schaefer

Musicians Scott Besaw and Scott Schaefer will join us for two weeks of fun and unique music. The "Great Scotts" will conduct drum circles and sing-a-long activities for both kids and adults alike. Scott Besaw will be at Paws Up form July 8-20. He has been performing for kids camps around the country, teaching kids at The Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago, and performing at various Chicago hot spots for years. It was a special treat for the guests who had the opportunity to learn from and be entertained by him in the summer of 2012.

Scott Schaefer will be at Paws Up July 13-20. He has enjoyed a notable presence on the Chicago music scene for two decades. He has been the lead singer for several indie rock outfits, and has also blazed a trail through the cover tune circuit with his numerous acoustic duos. He is currently the Label Manager for indie powerhouse, Bloodshot Records.

Yarn Antics and Bombing: August 5-10
Artist in Residency: Suzanne Tidwell

Suzanne Tidwell will be at Paws Up in early August teaching her amazing art of yarn bombing. Join her for a knit-in by a campfire, or at Kids Corps of Discovery for fun and educational crafts. You can also help her "install" her knitted masterpieces on the majestic pines throughout our expansive 37,000-acre property.
